The Forged In Ireland team are delighted to be at the Flavours of Fingal County Show, firing up the forge 🔥 and bringing the sights, sounds, and smells of traditional blacksmithing and smelting to Newbridge House and Farm again!

⚒️ 12-2pm Wrought iron Q&A with Forged in Ireland - iron heritage and farming over the years
⚒️ 2-4pm Limerick School of Blacksmithing Q&A - Learn how to get started in the craft
🔥 4-6pm The spectacular 'Birthing of the Blooms'
🎤 Talk by Dr. Paul Rondelez on the history of metal work in Dublin, from the medieval period to present day

This year will be busy with copper and iron smelting from FurnaceFestivals.ie, as well as our own Iron Smelting Furnace School - where you can experience a weekend of hands on smelting - from building the clay furnace, smelting the iron-ore, manning the bellows and witnessing the birth of your own glowing bloom of iron!
