I'm a silversmith and also teach the same in Grennan Mill Craft school Co Kilkenny.
I make silverware, jewellery in all precious metals and sculptural objects in precious and "non-precious" metals. I am particularly interested in ancient silversmithing techniques which I use and teach.
I have travelled to India regularly and Japan to learn traditional skills. In recent years I have dabbled with smelting and forging iron. I work mainly on a commission basis but also exhibit. I am honoured to have works in the state collection and The National Museum of Ireland.
