I completed the Post Baccalaureate degree in Art & Ecology from Burren College of Art in spring 2026 and will be continuing into their Master of Fine Art & Ecology program. I'm originally from Oregon, USA and have been blacksmithing since 2010. I have also been trained in precious metalworking via the Bachelors in Fine Art; Metalsmithing and Jewelry that I completed in 2013 at Colorado State University. I worked in the foundry industry for 7 years, and have cast just about every kind of metal. I spent the last couple years before leaving the states coordinating a volunteer blacksmith group through our local museum association. I have a lot of experience demonstrating for the public, and patiently showing new smiths how to get started. That being said, there is a lot of room to develop my own skills, and I'm always excited to watch other smiths work. We are hoping to make Ireland our new home. I am presently focused on developing sculptural works, but I love making functional forgings as well.
