I am a hobbyist blacksmith. I have been developing my skills for the last year or so.
I enjoy creating hand-forged pieces using traditional techniques and am particularly interested in decorative ironwork.
Alongside the practical craft, I have a strong interest in the history, traditions and folklore surrounding the local blacksmith and the important role blacksmiths played in Irish culture. I am keen to continue learning and hopefully improve my skills over time.
