Professional Bladesmith specializing in Bowie knives. Member of the Knifemakers Guild of South Africa and ABS Journeyman Smith.
My name is Stuart Smith. I have been a full time bladesmith since 2004. As a member of the Knifemakers Guild of Southern Africa and a Journeyman Smith with the Amercian Bladesmith Society I constantly strive to better the work I produce. I have a passion for Bowie Knives and Scandinavian style Puukkos. I make my own damascus steel and hand forge my own blades from a variety of high carbon steels. A personal favourite is 52100.
Each knife is accompanied by a custom leather sheath made by my amazing wife Michelle. Using veg tanned leather and a variety of exotic materials. Your sheath will stand out as a fitting companion to your knife.
